AMU appoints directors for Kerala, Bengal centres

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University has appointed directors for its off-campus special centres coming up in Malappuram, Kerala and Murshidabad, West Bengal. AMU VC Prof PK Abdul Azis has made the appointments on the recommendation of General Selection Committee and on behalf of the Executive Council.

The VC has approved the appointment of Dr. Mohamed P. as Director, AMU Centre at Malappuram, Kerala and Dr. Mohammad Yasin, Department of Political Science, University of North Bengal as Director, AMU Centre at Murshidabad, West Bengal initially for a period of one year on temporary basis with effect from the date of his joining duties, informed Dr Rahat Abrar, PRO, AMU.
