Dubai: The health ministry of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new website that aims to create awareness among the people through health education and disseminate information about the government’s policies and legislations.
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, minister of finance, launched the new web portal on the sidelines of the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference that ended Thursday.
The minister said the portal would assist citizens in getting a comprehensive idea about the performance of the ministry.
The portal – in both Arabic and English – will later include an electronic surveillance system of infectious diseases and latest health advertisements.
Visitors to the website can review the latest news releases, events and services. They would be able to communicate with the ministry for any enquiries or suggestions.
