Three Trinamool supporters struck by arrows in Bengal

Kolkata : Three Trinamool Congress supporters in West Bengal’s Purulia district were injured after a group of miscreants attacked them Saturday, police said. Five people have been arrested in this connection.

“Three Trinamool supporters were struck by arrows when a group of miscreants attacked a procession taken out by party supporters at Balarampur area of Purulia district this (Saturday) afternoon,” said Purulia Police Superintendent Sunil Chowdhury.

The injured have been rushed to hospital. Five people against whom a complaint was lodged were arrested, Chowdhury told IANS over phone.
