Raipur : Maoists dragged a 50-year-old man from his home and shot him dead in a Chhattisgarh forest, alleging he was a spy, police said Friday.
The killing of Kirtan Mandawi took place Thursday night in Koracha village of Rajnandgaon district, about 175 km from here and bordering Maharashtra.
The killers slipped a note in his pocket alleging he was a police spy.
Also this month, the Maoists killed a trader and a forest ranger on similar charges.
