“Regular visits of people across the border are very necessary as it will increase the people-to-people contact and also trade relations between India and Pakistan,” said Bilour, while talking to reporters after arriving here Thursday.

“Both the nations should grant maximum number of visas so that more number of people can travel in both countries. India and Pakistan should forget the past and look forward for better relations. We should begin a healthy phase of dialogue to solve all conflicts.”

Bilour reached Attari on the Samjhauta Express train on a visit to Ajmer to pay obeisance at the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.

While praising India’s rail network, Bilour said, “India has developed a strong network of railway lines and Pakistan is also following its footsteps to expand the rail infrastructure.”
