New Delhi: Admissions to the colleges of Delhi University began Saturday with around 2,100 information bulletins being sold on the first day and registration of around 1,600 students for reserved categories, officials said.
“The admission process began today (Saturday) but the rush would increase tremendously from Monday onwards,” Deputy Dean for students welfare Gurpreet Singh Tuteja told IANS.
The university from this year would be directly releasing the cut-off percentages in five phases starting June 15.
“Around 2,100 information bulletins were sold and around 1,600 SC/ST’s got registered too. In addition, 16 physically disabled students also came,” added Tuteja.
The “Open Days” sessions, which provide counselling to aspiring students, also commenced Saturday, Tuteja added.
