AMU establishes 8 new study centers across India

Aligarh: The Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has established eight more Study Centres in different parts of the country.

According to the director, Distance Education Centre, Dr. Mohd. Rizwan Khan, AMU will establish centres at Urdu College, Gopal Ganj, Bihar, Institute of System Management (ISM), Siwan, Bihar, Millia Educational Trust National Degree College, Purnea, Bihar, Computer Zone, Pulwari Sharif, Patna, Bihar, Indo Educational Foundation, New Delhi, K.L. Institute of Paramedical Sciences & Information Technology, Jammu Tawi and Al-Hafeez Educational Academy, Sahaswan, District Badaun and S.B.H. Azad Girls Degree College, Sambhal, Moradabad, UP.

Prof. Khan said that earlier the centre established five centers at Makhdoom Abdul Qasim Educational and Welfare Society, Saharsa, New Horizon School, Bhagalpur and Al-Aziz Educational Foundation Trust, Muzaffarpur in Bihar while the remaining two centers were established at Asim Siddiqui Memorial Degree College, Badaun and Madrasa Serajuyl Uloom, Sambhal, Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.

At present the strength of centre has gone up to thirteen, Dr. Khan added. The Distance Education Centre will offer graduate and undergraduate courses at these Centres.
