Noida : Leading real estate developer 3C Company has been awarded a gold LEEDS (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification for its Knowledge Boulevard green building in Noida that the company says will save huge operating energy costs.
According to 3C Company Director Vidur Bharadwaj, “studies prove that LEED certified buildings have lower operating costs, higher employee productivity, with happier and healthier occupants”.
“Knowledge Boulevard will not only put India on an international map of green buildings but also elevate Noida for now having three gold-rated LEED certified green buildings now.
“The mission for developing green buildings has not only helped in saving huge operating energy costs for the benefit of end users but has inculcated a discipline within the organization to preserve the environment,” Bharadwaj added.
The 3C Company already has to its credit three platinum and four gold LEED green buildings rated by the IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) under the umbrella of USGBC (US Green Building Council).
LEED is the IGBC’s leading edge system for designing and constructing the world’s greenest, energy-efficient and high performing buildings. The certification takes into consideration a number of green design and construction features that positively impact the environment and the ecosystem.
