Sikri is acting chief justice of Delhi High Court

New Delhi : The Delhi High Court’s senior most judge, Justice A.K. Sikri Monday took charge as the acting chief justice following the elevation of Chief Justice Dipak Misra to the Supreme Court Sep 30.

Justice Sikri, along with Justice Siddharth Mridul, would hear public interest litigation till the appointment of a new chief justice.

Born March 7, 1954, Justice Sikri was appointed a Delhi High Court judge July 7, 1999.
