UAE provides drinking water to flood-hit Pakistanis

Islamabad : The UAE has set up water plants and supply networks in Pakistan’s flood-affceted villages to provide clean drinking water to the people, it was announced Saturday.

UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Eisa Abdullah Al Basha Al Nuaimi told WAM in an interview that the project aims at providing drinking water to Pakistanis affected by floods.

A total of 26 water projects were launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bajaur and South Waziristan district. He added that over 80 percent of the projects have been completed.
