“The youth of the state had pinned their hopes on the young chief minister, but today their hopes have been dashed to ground due to the misgovernance of this regime.

“What to say of addressing aspirations of the younger generation, this regime has been victimising the youth one or other way,” she said while addressing a public meeting in Bhalwal, on the outskirts of Jammu.

Terming the government a “total failure”, she said the youngsters are frustrated as they are bearing the maximum brunt of the “oppressive policies being adopted by this dispensation”.

“Younger generation of the state felt cheated at the hands of the young chief minister because all promises made to them remained only on paper,” she said.

Expressing concern over simmering discontent among the youth, she accused the state government of “brazenly auctioning government jobs”.

“During the last three years, backdoor appointments have been going on unabated.

“For getting a government job, either one must have the money to give a bribe or be the relative of a minister or ruling elite,” she alleged.
