Patna: Campus Front of India has joined the ongoing mass movement for establishment of Special Centre of Aligarh Muslim University in Kishanganj district of Bihar, with the students wing of Popular Front of India holding a rally and daylong sit-in here in the state capital on 22nd October.
In a bid to add pressure on the state government to allot required land for the AMU Kishanganj centre, Campus Front took out a rally from Patna Science College to Gandhi Maidan and sat on dharna. The rally and sit-in was led by Anisujjaman, National President of Campus Front of India.

Addressing the students at the dharna site, Kishanganj MLA Akhtarul Iman exposed the hypocrisy of the JDU-led NDA government of Nitish Kumar in the land allocation matter of AMU.
Md Aftab Alam, National Working Committee member of SDPI also addressed the gathering. Bihar Convenor of Campus Front Md Mobashir gave the vote of thanks.

A mass movement is underway in Kishanganj under the leadership of local Congress MP Maulana Asrarul Haque Qasmi. Recently he organized a big demonstration in the Muslim-dominated district demanding land for the AMU Centre. Tens of thousands of people had taken part in the demo.
