Islamabad : Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik has directed the Islamabad administration to initiate action against foreigners living illegally in the capital and expel them to their native countries.
Malik asked the Islamabad Capital Territory authorities to further tighten security and enhance vigilance and patrolling by police and law enforcement agencies, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
He said the security of the area where the embassies were situated should be further enhanced.
The minister also wanted thorough checking at entry and exit points of the capital.
