Tehran : Iran will donate $100 million to Pakistan to help rehabilitate its flood affected people in the country’s Sindh province, a media report said.
Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najar made the announcement during a meeting with visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani here Sunday.
Najar told Gilani that he would visit Pakistan within a week to also deliver relief items for the affected people, the Online news agency reported.
Over 140 people have died and four million people have become homeless in floods triggered by rains in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province since August.
