New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar has given her permission for prosecution of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Lok Sabha member Ashok Argal in the cash-for-vote scam, a police official said Friday.
“We have got permission from the concerned authority. Now, a charge sheet will be filed,” Ashok Chand, Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police, told IANS.
Former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and Sudheendra Kulkarni, former aide of senior BJP leader L.K. Advani, are among the six people already in jail in connection with the case.
