Lusaka (Zambia): English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers (QPR) are ready to sign Zambian international striker Emmanuel Mayuka following his splendid performance for both the national team and his Swiss club, the Zambia Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
The 2012 Africa Cup golden boot winner, currently playing for BSC Young Boys of Switzerland, has impressed QPR manager Mark Hughes who is ready to sign him for a deal estimated at 3.5 million pounds, according to Daily Mail.
The young striker has scored 18 goals from 55 appearances for the Swiss side since joining the team from Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel in 2010. He has played 36 times for the Zambia in serious competitions, scoring 10 goals and netting three times in team’s maiden Africa Cup of Nations triumph in February this year.
