London: A hot air balloon hit a tree in a storm and caught fire, killing at least four people and injuring 28 in Slovenia.
The four who died were so badly burned that police said they were not able to identify them, the Daily Express reported Friday.
Workers in a field where the tragedy happened said people were leaping from the basket to escape flames.
“The balloon basket hit the ground fast, some of the people inside fell out. But then the basket went back up into the air with others still inside, it was on fire,” one worker said.
