Islamabad: Unidentified gunmen Saturday opened fire at a police mobile unit in Pakistan’s southwestern Quetta metropolis, killing at least three policemen, a media report said.
Another policeman was injured in the firing in Satellite Town area, Xinhua reported citing local media.
The police mobile unit was on a routine patrol when it came under attack.
The report said the attack was so intense that the police personnel could not retaliate.
The miscreants fled the scene after the attack.
No group claimed responsibility for the firing.
