Bhubaneswar : This Odisha capital Sunday witnessed hot weather conditions as the day’s maximum temperature climbed to 40.1 degree Celsius, an official said.
It was the highest temperature of the day in the state, S.C.Sahu, director of the Bhubaneswar meteorological centre told IANS.
The other places which witnessed hot weather conditions include Malkangiri, Bolangir and Titilagarh which recorded a maximum temperature of 39.4, 38.4 and 38 degree Celsius respectively.
The conditions were likely to continue in parts of the state for the next couple of days, Sahu said.
