The protesters have come from North Waziristan and are camping near the presidency and parliament house to convey their grievances to the US and the Pakistani governments.

The drone strikes targeted Al Qaeda and Taliban militants in Pakistan.

“I have filed a police case in Islamabad against the American officials for killing my son,” Karim Khan, one of the participants who lost his son in a drone strike, said.

Political activists from several opposition parties have joined the protest, Xinhua reported. They have demanded an immediate halt to the attacks.

Besides banners and placards, they were also carrying pictures of those killed, including children, in the drone strikes.
