Lucknow: The All India Minority Front (AIMF) has developed a unique way to woo voters. Instead of fielding candidates, it has invited suggestions from people about the feasible candidates for the upcoming elections.
The front claimed that it has already received 4000 suggestions from people across the state. The suggestions come through emails, SMSs and personal contacts. After gathering responses from people, the front will discuss their choices with people of a particular area to take a final call.
“We have already received a list of 4000 candidates from the state. We will collect the suggestions till January 9, after which we will ask people to select the best among the lot,” said SM Asif, president of AIMF.
The front said that it will fight the election at all the 403 seats of the state with farmer interests as the top priority in the election manifesto.
