New Delhi : Even as India says that fresh evidence has been given against Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed, the alleged mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, Pakistani High Commisioner Shahid Malik said Tuesday Islamabad was waiting for evidence that can be “presented in a court”.
“We need evidence (from India) against Hafiz Saeed which can be presented to a court,” Malik told reporters at the Indian Women’s Press Corps here.
He said he could say no more on the issue.
Indian officials have said that additional inputs were given on the evidence against Hafiz Saeed during the two-day home secretary level talks in Islamabad on May 24-25.
