Kazmi’s counsel Mehmood Pracha told Additional Sessions Judge Surinder S. Rathi that it was a malafide order.

He said the grant of 90 more days for further probe was made to Delhi Police without hearing him.

The additional sessions judge after hearing the defence counsel asked police to file a reply by June 8 and present the case diary.

The magistrate’s court on June 2 gave more time to police for further probe.

Kazmi was arrested March 6. He is being held under judicial custody.
