Raipur : The monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh state assembly will begin from July 12 and will have just six sittings, assembly officials said Tuesday.
“The monsoon session will open on July 12 and will conclude on July 19, the day when the house will take up voting for the presidential poll,” assembly secretary Devendra Verma told media persons.
He added that there would be total six sittings during the entire session.
Official sources say that several key resolutions will come up for the discussion during the brief session.
In a 90-member state assembly, the ruling BJP has 49 members and the Congress has 39 while the Bahujan Samaj Party has two members.
