Gaborone: Sixteen workers were trapped when the walls of a diamond mine collapsed in Botswana. Fifteen of them were rescued.
The walls of the Jwaneng diamond mine collapsed Friday. Fifteen of the 16 workers were rescued soon after the incident, reported Xinhua.
The spokesperson for Debswana, a joint venture of Botswana government and DeBeers, Barulaganye Mogotsi said rescue workers got to work immediately.
