Malappuram: It is not right to test burn the holy hair ‘Sha`ar-e-Mubarak’. Just because a few have raised questions over its credibility, no one has the right to do it, asserted Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musalyar. He was addressing the concluding session of the Muallim conference organised by Sunni Jamiayathul Muallimeen as part of his ‘Kerala Yathra’ campaign.
He said that the challenges put forward by the Salafi groups and the EK faction of Sunnis to test burn the holy hair don’t deserve any attention because they are making these allegations despite being aware of the fact that, Markaz has received ‘Sha`ar-e-Mubarak’ along with clear cut documents and evidences that too in front of a mass that ranged up to lakhs. “There was nothing like secret in this transaction and all those who witnessed the programme are bearers of this truth”, he reminded.
There is nothing like we are forcing somebody to believe that the hair within our possession is ‘Sha`ar-e-Mubarak’; every body is free to accept and reject its credibility, but attempts to degrade the believers will be dealt with, he warned.
Burying the truth is in no way different from opposing the ones who bring forward the truth, standing by the truth will indeed attract opposition, he said.
