Jaipur call for educational revolution within the Muslim community

Jaipur: Having an aim to empower Muslims in the field of education, several prominent personalities have gathered at All India Educational Society’s 9th national educational conference ‘Iqra-2012’ here in Rajasthan’s capital city Jaipur on Saturday. The participants said that this is right time to call for an educational revolution within the Muslim community to face the challenges of the contemporary world.

The two-day conference is being attended by Justice Rajinder Sachar, Justice Suhail Ejaz Siddiqui, Chairman, National Commission for Minorities Educational Institutions, Wajahat Habeebullah, Chairman National Minority Commission and the first woman Supreme Court Judge Justice M. Fathima Beevi.

Addressing the participants Ms Fathima said: “This is a great and significant beginning and all right thinking people should support this effort.”

“The most important thing is they are focusing on women education and to educate a girl child means to educate whole family,” she further said.

“We have a significant history and we need latest technology with modern trend,” she added.
