Guwahati : At least six people, including a woman and two children, were killed and over 40 others injured Wednesday when two buses collided in Assam, police said.
The accident took place in Upper Assam’s Lakhimpur district, over 300 km from here.
Police said the condition of about 10 passengers was critical. Drivers of both vehicles died on the spot.
While one bus was on its way to Silapathar from Barpeta, the other bus was coming Arunachl Pradesh.
