Malik said Ehsan was working for foreign elements, and questioned as to what kind of Shariah or ISlamic law the Taliban wanted to enforce that legitimised the killing of innocent people and sanctioned suicide bombings.
The minister said the Pakistani Taliban was a divided organisation, and now constituted of various groups, including the Waliur Rehman faction and the Hakimullah Mehsud group.
Malik had earlier offered a general amnesty to all banned groups, including the Pakistani Taliban, if they give up terrorism.
