We have taken several decisions to promote Urdu language and in coming days we will take some more such decisions. My government has also increased the budget for the development of Urdu,” Akhilesh Yadav stated.
Akhilesh also appreciated the function stating that it will send a good message in the country.
Akhilesh also highlighted that both Hindi and Urdu language are intermingled. “Both Hindi and Urdu language are so mixed that words of both languages are used interchangeably. Earlier, Chairman, Press Council of India, Justice Markandey Katju stated that Britishers had succeeded in their designs by associating Urdu with Muslims and Hindi with Hindus. He urged that the time has come when Indian language should be promoted.
