Jaipur: Muslim Students Organisaion of India (MSO) has demanded the central government to ban the anti-Islam movie “Innocence of Muslims” and also the YouTube until it removed all contents of the blasphemous movie. MSO on Monday sent a memorandum with the demand to President and Prime Minister of the country. A delegation of the group also met Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot to press the demand.
“We the representatives of Sufi- Sunni Youths would like to draw your kind attention in a peaceful and democratic manner towards worldwide protestshappening invarious countries against anti Islamic Movie named “Innocence of Muslims”which has depicted the revered and Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) in very bad light.Indian Muslims along with common human being are heavily aghast at this development,” said MSO in the letter.
While appreciating the immediate move by Govt. of India for ordering toblock the YouTube Links, the group requested the central government to:
–Immediate ban anti-Islam film“Innocence of Muslims’’ and Youtube.com in our country.
–Lodge strong protest with the US and demandit to punish the directors and producers of the movie.
“As it is related with the sentiments of 1.5 billion Muslims across the worldandpeace loving peoplestoo, we hope the Indian Government will definitely take strong and necessary measures so that confidence of Indian Muslims towards central government may be strengthened,” the group urged.
The MSO delegation which met Rajasthan CM included Chief Mufti of Jaipur Mufti AbdusSattarRazvi, MSO State Rajasthan President Khalid AyyubMisbahi, Haji RafatKhan and MSONational President Sayyed Muhammad Quadri.
