AMU VC Lt. Gen. Shah delegates powers to Pro VC Brigadier Ali

Aligarh: The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. General (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah has delegated the powers to Brigadier (Retired) Syed Ahmad Ali, Pro Vice Chancellor related to finance and accounts, all academic matters and admission and examination of the University.

The New Pro-Vice Chancellor has financial power up to a maximum of Rs. 5 Lakhs including the matters relating to Finance and Accounts Department along with Purchase and Property as reported by the Finance Officer from time to time.

The Vice Chancellor also delegated his powers to the Pro Vice Chancellor related to all academic matters of the University including matters pertaining to Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors including the matters related to grant of study leave and other kinds of leave as may be admissible, confirmation, grant of pension and gratuity etc.

He will also approve the draft advertisement and approval of the candidates to be called for interview for the above academic positions and matters thereafter according to the statement of powers delegated to the Pro-Vice Chancellor. He will deal all matters relating to the admissions and examination (except nominations) as submitted by the Controller of the Examinations.
