Kerala: Pravasi forum , Kerala staged a dharna to demand from the Central Government of India to take immediate action for the security of life and job of Indian pravasis, particularly the Malayalees who are facing difficulties on account to their loss of job in Saudi Arabia.
Advocate Sharafudheen, National General Secretary SDPI inaugurated the dharna. In his inaugural speech he said that the loss to Indian Government on withdrawal of 12 lakh Indians from Saudi Arabia is very huge.
Along with that the pravasis and their families have to face difficulty to meet their daily needs. From the past 3 years the Saudi Government has been adopting steps for ensuring employment for natives of Saudi, but the irresponsibility of Indian government is seen through the inactive actions to ensure the security for the life of Indians, he added.
They protesters demanded that the government should talk with Saudi Government with immediate effects. Abdul Salam Parakadan, General Secretary Pravasi Forum Kerala Ibrahim Kunju Vice preisdent, Muneer Iringath Sceretary and AY Kunju Mohammed Secretary also spoke during the dharna.
