Educational conference in Uttrakhand

    Kashipur, Uttrakhand: “Without education nobody can progress because the path of development is so ticklish and difficult that an illiterate man cannot walk more on the path of progress. The difference between illiterate and educated is like the difference between dead and alive,” said Senior Faculty of Aligarh Muslim University Dr. Shakeel Samdani, who was addressing an Educational Conference at Iqra Junior High School, Dheemakheda, Kashipur.

    He said that a conspiracy was hatched to keep the Muslims away from education that’s why very few schools and colleges were opened in their areas. The Muslims who secured degrees were also denied jobs that’s why a sense of frustration developed in their minds. Now the situation has changed and the Muslim boys and girls are trying their best to get higher education. They are getting jobs in private sector also.

    Dr. Samdani advised the parents to sacrifice their comfort for better future of their children. He also advised the teachers present in the gathering to impart good training (Tarbiyat) to the students. He congratulated the manager of Iqra junior High School, Qari Ghulam Nabi for establishing an educational Institution in remote area of Kashipur.

    Prof Saud Alam Qasmi, Dean Faculty of Theology, AMU said that those communities who do not get education become the slaves of others. Education is the best way to achieve freedom. He said that the Quran advices the human beings to apply their minds to the nature and find the solutions of their problems. He advised the Muslims to do research and conquer the world.

    Chief Gust of the conference, K.C. Singh Baba, Member of Parliament from Nainital said that with the help of authentic religious books and intellectuals we can progress in this world. If the intellectuals join social and political field to lead the nation then the nation will progress more. He said that although the India has progressed too much but in the field of discipline the public record is very poor, that’s why our education system must also focus on discipline. He said that the research on birds has achieved its zenith still it is not complete. He assured the audience of his full help to convert Iqra Junior High School into an Inter mediate college.

    Manager, Iqra Junior High School, Qari Ghulam Nabi while welcoming the guests said that it was a challenge for him to start this school in this remote area, but with the help of the public it could be possible. He said that in the entire district there is no girls inter college for Muslim girls. It should be opened as soon as possible.

    In his presidential address, Maulana Aslam Javed Qasmi, Rampur said that such type of conferences should be organised in every District of Uttrakhand. He assured his full help for the school building.

    Mukesh Malhotra, Former Chairman, Kashipur, Sanjay Chaturvedi, Mohd. Hanif, Advocate, Sheikh Haji Abdul Aziz, Maulana Mubeen Ahmad, Aligarh, Musharaf Ahmad, Er. Mohd Alam also expressed their views.



    Secretary of the society, Nafess Ahmad proposed vote of thanks. On this occasion Sipasnama was presented to the guests. Besides the speeches, the students presented Hamd, Naat, Ahadith, Sunnatein and Kalima which was appreciated by the audience. The most important feature of the program was the presence of women in large numbers.

    The important personalities who were present in the conference were Musharaf Hussain, Iqbal adeeb, Haseen Khan, Mohd Masood Alam, Furkan Khan, Ahmar Kashipuri, Ziauddin Ansari, Madam Madhubala, Haji Master Abdul Rehman etc.
