According to the survey, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get 110 seats of the total 200 in the Rajasthan assembly and the ruling Congress will slide to 73.

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) would get only one seat, and the other parties 16 seats, the survey said.

In 2008, the Congress had won 96 seats, the BJP 78, BSP six and others 20.

Chhattisgarh would see a hung assembly, according to the exit poll.

In a close battle, the ruling BJP is likely to be short of simple majority. It is projected to win 43 of the total 90 seats.

The Congress is likely to win 42 seats. There are about 15 seats which are being won by a narrow margin of two percent.

At least five of these 15 seats could impact the final outcome, the survey said.

Rajasthan went to polls Dec 1 while the Chhattisgarh elections were held in two phases – Nov 11 and 19. Results will be out Dec 8.
