New Delhi : Three Indian fishermen whose boat capsized 200 nautical miles off Negombo on Sri Lanka’s west coast, were rescued by a Sri Lankan fishing boat, an official said Tuesday.
Officials of the Indian High Commission in Colombo reached Negombo and arranged for their hospitalisation.
They are now receiving medical attention.
The Indian High Commission will provide emergency certificates and make arrangements for their return as soon as they are fit to travel, the official added.
