New Delhi : A two-day conference on India and the Muslim world begins here Friday to discuss issues related to cultural heritage, educational cooperation and diplomacy.
The event will be organised by the Institute of Objective Studies at the Constitution Club Annexe.
Key issues to be discussed at the conference will include the historical backdrop of India’s relationship with the Muslim world and the attitudinal proximity between the two on philosophical, political, economic, cultural and security issues, a statement said.
During the conference, the institute’s lifetime achievement award will be conferred upon Maulana Saeed Al Azami Al Nadwi, chancellor, Integral University, and chief editor, Al Baas Al Islami, Lucknow.
The conference will also have a special session on India and Saudi Arabia.
