New Delhi : Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai will be visiting the US from Feb 20 during which he will hold consultations with senior officials.
The foreign secretary would be visiting Washington Feb 20-22. He is travelling for foreign office consultations with US Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, officials said Wednesday.
He is expected to call upon Secretary of State John Kerry, Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Energy Daniel Poneman as well as Deputy Secretary of Defence Ashton Carter no Feb 21.
He will also meet Under of State for Energy, Economic Growth and the Environment, Robert Hormats.
The foreign secretary will speak at the Carnegie Endowment Feb 21 on the topic “A 21st Century India-United States partnership for peace, prosperity and progress”.
