Shillong: Governor R.S. Mooshahary Saturday lamented the growing incidents of crime against women in Meghalaya.
“It is a social disgrace that in our tribal state known for its respect and care for women, cases of rape and molestation are becoming common occurrences,” he said at the main Republic Day function here.
