Flexible office timing for Muslim employees during Ramzan in Assam

Guwahati: The employees belonging to Muslim community of Assam government will be allowed to leave office at 4:30 pm. i.e. half an hour earlier than the scheduled time during the month of Ramzan (Ramadan) commencing from July 9, 2013. This is subject to the condition that they will have to attend office half an hour earlier i.e. at 9:30 am.

The government employees working in Assam Secretariat who belong to the Muslim community are also allowed to avail this office timing subject to the disposal of Assembly related works.
