New Delhi: Two people, including a 30-year-old civil services aspirant, were killed after the autorickshaw they were travelling in collided with a speeding truck here Thursday, police said. The truck driver was arrested.
The incident took place near Delhi University’s Khalsa College in north Delhi around 5.30 a.m., police said.
The deceased were identified as autorickshaw driver Vijay Verma, 45, and civil services aspirant Vishal Gupta, police said.
Gupta, who hailed from Uttar Pradesh, lived in Mukherjee Nagar in a rented accommodation, police said.
“Truck driver Mohammad Rahim was arrested,” said a police officer.
