Two held for leaking government job question paper

New Delhi: Two people, including a government official, were arrested Sunday for involvement in leaking the question paper of an examination for government service, police said.

“Jitender Kumar, 23 and Bijender Khatri, 30, a candidate and civic agency staff member, respectively, were arrested from Shahbad Dairy area in north Delhi for leaking the paper of Staff Selection Commission examination,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police B.S. Jaiswal.

Police said Kumar was going to appear in the exam at school in Begumpur, where Khatri would have sent him answers to the questions to be asked in the exam.

He had already paid Rs.1 lakh and was to pay the remaining amount after passing the exam, said Jaiswal.

Police have seized two mobile phones of both the accused through which the answers would have been sent from outside and received in the examination hall.
