New Delhi : A Delhi court Monday sent to judicial custody till March 30 a man who shot dead a woman here for allegedly interfering in his relationship with her friend.
Metropolitan Magistrate Saumya Chauhan remanded Munshi Yadav, 25, to judicial custody after he was presented in court on completion of his 14 days’ judicial remand.
Police earlier sought Yadav’s custody as he had bought a home-made pistol from Bihar’s Saharsa district and used it to shoot twice at Pooja Feb 24 near Sarai Kale Khan Inter-State Bus Terminal in south Delhi and a police van. Pooja died later in hospital.
Yadav was overpowered by passers-by and handed over to police.
