Aligarh: Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a camp for the treatment of cleft lip and palate patients and those with facial deformities.
Dr. Shadab M Rizvi, Chairman, Department of Oral and Maxilofacial Surgery said that nose deformities in cleft lip and palate patients are also very common but such patients are usually left untreated due to one or other reason and live in the society with an inferiority complex.
Dr Rizvi said that the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is providing an opportunity to such patients. Such cases which have been operated earlier and the next stage of operation is pending or those who were operated elsewhere and are unsatisfied with the operation, may come to the camp. A prior registration is mandatory and patients may contact OPD No. 5 of Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College during November 7-12, 2013 from 9:30 am to 1:00 p.m.
