New Delhi: Delhi residents saw a sunny, sultry Tuesday, with the maximum temperature at 35.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average. The Met office has forecast a clear Wednesday.
“The day will be clear and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The minimum temperature Tuesday was two notches below average at 22.5 degrees Celsius, while the humidity swung between a high of 88 percent and low of 36 percent.
Monday’s maximum temperature settled at 33.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 24.8 degrees, both average for this time of the year.
