Beijing: An earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, hit China early Friday, the China Earthquake Networks Centre said.
The temblor, recorded at a depth of seven km, hit a region between Sunan county, Gansu province, and Menyuan county, Qinghai province in northwest China at 5.37 a.m., Xinhua reported.
