Aligarh: In a first for its placement drive, the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has provided a passage to enormous opportunities of international placements.
At least 15 students who have passed Masters in Business Administration, various bachelors courses and senior secondary school students have been selected to work for a reputed Saudi Arabia based company, a release from AMU said.
AMU’s Placement Office has confirmed that these students have been selected for management posts such as Country Heads, Submission officers and also for biometric officers and receptionists.
While confirming that a mass placement drive is going on, AMU’s Training and Placement Officer, Saad Hameed said: “Efforts are being taken to provide international placements for the students of the University.”
Meanwhile, the selected students have thanked the Vice Chancellor Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah and noted AMU alumnus Nadim A Tarin for their help and support, the release from Dr Rahat Abrar, AMU PRO said.
