Bengal assembly’s budget session from Feb 10

    Kolkata : The budget session of West Bengal Assembly will begin Feb 10 with the address of Governor M.K. Naraynan, Speaker Biman Banerjee said here Thursday.

    Finance Minister Amit Mitra will present the annual financial statement for 2014-15 Feb 17, Banerjee told media persons after an all-party meeting at his chamber.

    The session is likely to end Feb 21.

    Three days – Feb 12-14 – will be reserved for discussions on the governor’s speech and three days have been allotted for the budget discussions, he said.
