Twenty-first century and the Stone Age

By Abdul Hannan Siwani Nadvi for TwoCircles.net,

Usually, International Media as well as governments around the world discuss freely topics such as peace, development, security, terrorism, bilateral relations etc, but they ignore to highlight the characters that are destroying the growth, development and progress slowly but steadily.

Perhaps, they do not like to get themselves involved in those issues as they are aware of the results. Therefore, their topic can be Islam, terrorism etc but not the elements that get them failed on all counts.

Why did anti-corruption movement knock India? Why did Arab Spring appear in the Arab world? Why are people of Ukraine agitating there? Why is Thailand facing demonstration and agitation? Why unequality growing in every country? Why is unemployment on rise despite the era of Smart Phones and Tabs? Why is peace still an unachievable dream?

Even if the elements of Stone Age dominate in this so-called civilized and educated world, the fear of being part of Stone Age looms around us. Why? Look at crimes, corruption, un-employment, poverty, racial and communal violence and color based policies. They have become a part and parcel of society of today’s era. Sending spaceships to Mars is easier than getting rid of these problems.

Invisible crimes of Stone Age dominate in current un-orthodox society of 21st century. Trafficking, violence, religious based un-called boycott of communities and business of drugs on high-scale are the elements that have turned the situation worse than thDark Age.

This is not the story of one or two countries. Almost all countries around the world have similar problems. Efforts and steps to counter them turned up more troubles than reducing them.

Therefore, governments turned to Science and Technologies as a tool to fix these things immediately and effectively. Education too is considered as a comprehensive element. But all efforts as of now are in vain.

The situation has reached to this extent that all institutions have failed in delivering good results, governments find no way to solve them even uprising and throwing of old systems out did not make the results better.

The consequences of these experiences are unimaginable. Jails have been over crowded with criminals and innocents while society is full with jobless youths and people.

Judiciary too is unable to handle the challenges caused by growing numbers of cases amid hundreds and thousands of old cases have still been pending in various courts.

Burden of previous cases made security agencies, Judiciary and other staffs in those institutions helpless and clueless. Helpline Numbers and Police patrolling too could not remove the fear among general people.

These failures are not for just crimes and un-employment. Humanitarian crises too made the world unsafe despite the use of advanced technologies and installation of full body scanners. Use of Drone increased more chaos than peace.

Look at Syria, Myanmar, Central African Republic, Gaza, Somalia, South-Sudan and other violence hit regions. People of those regions have been asking world for help, food, security, safety and control over massacres. United Nations has been keeping us updated with each massacre and mass-murder. In Central African Republic where ethnic cleansing of Muslims has been going on for long times, according to United Nations 1.3 Million people are in need of food and other basic facilities, this world that could help them and provide them security and food, is unable to do the work honestly.

Even though, various countries have become Nuclear Powers, people of same countries are migrating from one state to another state; from one country to other countries for just food, breads, jobs and better life.

All these things are happening in 21st Century: the Era of Drone; the Era of the Technologies the world never ever experienced in the past; the era of an un-orthodox world; the era where people are getting killed and massacres take place in the name of reformation and safety of society.

When world’s powerful iInstitution like United Nations and the super power countries that enjoy veto power in Security Council and have drone technologies are unable to keep affected countries safe and secure, then why they scream about human rights and justice.

The point is why are results not as per the expectation? Why are crimes on the rise? Why is unemployment a challenge despite growth, development and jobs opportunities?

The story of success is very short but the story of failures dominates everywhere. These failures have many un-answered questions.

They cannot get away from the questions as they are themselves accountable and responsible of crimes and humanitarian crises. Their policies, ideologies, thoughts, fear has turned the world into hell and created this atmosphere that left no solution and hope.
