New Delhi : South Korean President Park Geun-hye, the country’s first woman president, is paying a state visit to India Jan 15-18.
President Park, who is coming to India on the invitation of President Pranab Mukherjee, will hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and discuss bilateral, regional and global issues, a statement said.
The visit will expand and strengthen the India-Republic of Korea Strategic Partnership, a statement said.
The daughter of former president Park Chung-hee, who ruled South Korea for almost two decades, Park took over as president in February last year.
